Overview

SlitherGames (slithergames.onrender.com and any custom domain pointed at it) is a small collection of browser games. This page explains what information we collect when you visit or play, why, and what choices you have. You can play every sample game here without creating an account or giving us any personal information at all.

Information We Collect

Just by visiting:

• A random, anonymous visitor ID stored in a cookie (sg_visitor), so your coin balance and progress can be remembered across visits without requiring sign-in. This cookie doesn't identify you personally and expires if you don't return for a while (currently 15 days of inactivity).
• Standard technical information any web server or ad/analytics tool automatically sees when your browser makes a request -- things like your IP address, browser type, and the page you visited.

If you choose to sign in (optional, only needed to upload your own photos for the Sliders puzzle game):

• Your email address, used solely to send you a one-time sign-in code.
• A session cookie once you're signed in.
• Any photos you upload for use as puzzle images.

Gameplay information tied to your visitor ID or account:

• Coins earned, and which games you've started.
• If a run of a game qualifies for that game's top-15 leaderboard, the 3-character initials you choose to enter -- we don't ask for or store your real name.

Advertising & Analytics

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how people find and use SlitherGames, and to show relevant ads for SlitherGames on Facebook and Instagram. The Pixel can record that you visited this site and which pages you viewed, and this information may be combined with your Facebook/Instagram activity to personalize the ads you see there. We don't control how Meta uses this data beyond that -- see Meta's own Privacy Policy for details.

We may add other advertising or analytics tools in the future; if we do, we'll update this page to reflect them.

Your Choices

• You can control ad personalization directly in your Facebook ad preferences.
• Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings -- doing so will sign you out and reset your anonymous coin balance, but every game will still work.
• The Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out page covers many ad networks at once, industry-wide.
• To ask us to delete your account, uploaded photos, or any other data we hold about you, email us at support@pyramid-identity.com.

Sharing

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the outside services that make the site work:

• Resend -- delivers the sign-in email if you choose to log in. They see your email address for that purpose only.
• Meta -- receives Pixel visit/page-view data as described above.
• Render -- our hosting provider; they run the servers this site is deployed on.

Children's Privacy

SlitherGames is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at the address below and we'll remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this page as the site changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
