"Public" is what visitors see in Sliders' picker right now. "Administrator uploads" is every image you've added (active or not) -- toggle one on to publish it, or off to pull it without deleting it. "All" adds in every visitor's own private custom uploads too, so you can monitor usage across everything.

Database Maintenance
Download a full backup of the live database any time. Restoring replaces the ENTIRE live database with the uploaded file -- there's no undo once you confirm, so only restore a backup you trust.
